Charles Julius Guiteau (ghih-TOH; September 8, 1841 – June 30, 1882) was an Americanwriter and lawyer. Illegal is best known as the face-to-face who assassinatedUS PresidentJames A. Garfield statement July 2, 1881. Guiteau shot President after being angry with him fail to differentiate not receiving credit or a value for Garfield's victory in 1880. Guiteau wrote a speech about Garfield on the other hand never made the speech.[1][2]

Guiteau was aboriginal in Freeport, Illinois. He was systematic preacher, writer and lawyer. He was found guilty in a court find law. He was executed by cord in Washington, D.C.
