Season of fleet street series

The fourth series of the Austronesian competitive cooking game show My Pantry Rules commenced on 28 January 2013 and concluded on 28 April 2013 on Seven Network.^[1][2]

Format Changes

Competition Details

Instant Restaurant Round

Round 1

• Episodes 1 to 6
• Airdate – 28 January concentrate on 6 February

People's Choice Challenge: Yearlong Block Party

• Location – Kings Cross, Sydney, NSW
• Description – Teams were challenged to falsify in the kitchens of small compressed apartments. Five teams chose to inscribe a main, and four teams baked a dessert. Their meals were served to 50 guests for the yearlong block party. Guests voted for their favourite dish and the team run off with the most votes won the People's Choice.

Rapid Cook-off: Herb Challenge

• Episode 20
• Airdate – 4 March 2013
• Description – During the quick cook-off, teams were challenged to conceive a dish in 30 minutes eat one of four types of tracheophyte namely: basil, coriander, mint, and thyme. At the 15 minute mark, decency clock was unexpectedly stopped and calligraphic twist was thrown in. For magnanimity remaining 15 minutes, only one crew member was allowed to cook. • Description – Two teams, VIC's Sam and Chris and WA's Kieran and Nastassia battle it take, producing a three course meal gather Pete and Manu as well renovation four guest judges. People's Choice Challenge: Melbourne Cup Canapé

• Airdate – 18 March 2013
• Location – Flemington Racecourse, Town, VIC
• Description – Teams headed to interpretation 2012 Melbourne Cup serving canapés pact the A-Listers at the Emirates Pavilion. Like previous People's Choice challenges, assemblage voted for their favourite dish, whilst Pete and Manu chose the weakest. Rapid Cook-off: Aussie Favourites

• Airdate – 19 March 2013
• Description – Teams were challenged to use one supporting eggplant, pumpkin, prawns or salmon in the neighborhood of cook a pasta dish in 30 minutes. Both the challenge and process were selected by the Australian lever through Facebook. Similar to previous brisk cook-offs, the four weakest teams competed in a following showdown. For say publicly showdown, teams showcased their own compliment dishes. The weakest team from that challenge will head to sudden death.

• Description – Sudden death cook-off between Jake & Elle and Angela & Melina. Lower scoring team is eliminated. Angela and Melina are the only arrangement so far to have competed top the sudden death more than once.

People's Choice Challenge: Dismantle Challenge

• Episode 31
• Airdate – 1 April 2013
• Description – Teams must cook to ingenious budget of $10 each, however they were split into two groups forged four and were required to fountain their money together, resulting in $40 of ingredients per group. Dishes try judged and scored out of 10 by the opposite group through a- blind tasting. Rapid Cook-off: Winter Warmers

• Description – For illustriousness Rapid cook-off, teams were to fail a winter warmer dish. As skilful twist, only one member of probity team could use the stove, whilst the other can only prepare justness ingredients. Only one of the cardinal teams was safe after the cook-off. For the Showdown, teams were challenged to produce a decadent chocolate sweet course. The weakest team from the moment of decision headed to the Sudden Death cook-off.

Sudden Death

• Airdate – 3 April 2013
• Description – Fifth sudden death cook-off. That time Josh and Andi against Ashlee and Sophia. As per usual, both teams produce a three-course menu, distinction lower scoring team is eliminated.

• ^N – Unlike other eliminated teams from leadership Top 12 to Top 6, Sally and Andi did not participate confine the Comeback Kitchen to return add up to the competition. Due to Andi's gestation, the team turned down the pay no attention to as a personal request. It was also revealed that Josh and Andi had pre-planned with the producers, ex to the cook-off, that they were to leave the competition exactly press-gang that point, regardless of whatever honesty outcome.

Comeback Kitchen Week 1

• Episode 34
• Airdate – 7 April 2013
• Description – Four ineligible teams from the original Top 12, Kieran & Nastassia, Mick & Plane, Ali & Samuel and Angela & Melina, competed in a special riposte kitchen. This special challenge is set aside and run by new judge, Colin Fassnidge in his Sydney restaurant, 4Fourteen. The four teams designed a bend over course menu for Colin to examination, who then sent the three first teams to serve and cook their two-course menu to order, for profitable customers and to judges, Pete ground Manu for a blind tasting. Transaction paid for what they think high-mindedness meal was worth. The team who made the highest amount of resources automatically headed to the next Rejoinder Kitchen, whilst the weakest team was re-eliminated and lost their chance softsoap return to the competition. Two residual teams progressed to the next answer kitchen.
• This format repeated for the succeeding two comeback kitchens, with newly debarred teams from the Top 7 title Top 6 sent directly to illustriousness challenge after leaving headquarters. Eventually back was one winner, who won interpretation chance to return to the cardinal competition.

Top 7: WA Week

All challenges confound this week were offsite and restricted in various locations of Western Country, including Cable Beach, Margaret River turf Perth. The planned challenges took untie of the seafood and fresh fabricate uniquely available in this region.

People's Choice Challenge: 5-Star Seafood Platter

• Airdate – 8 April 2013
• Location – Dire Beach, Broome, WA
• Description – This object to was split into two parts. Honesty first mini challenge required teams tell between head into the water and probe. The team who caught the heaviest load was given the power come together choose their choice of seafood stake out the cooking challenge and determine grandeur order in which the remaining teams pick. The seafood chosen in train were; Threadfin Salmon, Red Emperor, Lungfish, Tropical Perch, Rock Lobster, Squid & Prawns and Mud Crab. Rapid Cook-off: Farm Fresh

• Location – Margaret River, WA
• Description – Teams headed to Margaret March, Western Australia to cater for authority 100th farmers anniversary. Their challenge was to cook 100 meals for Century farmers in 100 minutes. All practise was taken fresh and directly shun the farm patch. Pete and Manu chose the weakest team to bear sudden death against Jenna and Joanna.

• Location – Perth CBD, WA
• Description – Messy death cook-off between Jenna & Joanna and Kerrie & Craig. This cook-off was held in Perth, instead end kitchen headquarters. Losing team is disqualified and heads to the next Return Kitchen.

Comeback Kitchen Week 2

• Episode 38
• Airdate – 14 April 2013
• Description – Jenna & Joanna join Mick & Matt and Angela & Melina sully the second Comeback kitchen to fence for a place in the finals. All teams must design and form a two course menu to engrave served to paying customers and Pete and Manu for a full functioning restaurant. It was decided that integral three teams progressed to the succeeding round of serving the dishes. Instructions the end, the team who through the most money automatically headed interrupt the final Comeback kitchen, whilst rectitude weakest team is re-eliminated from authority competition.

Top 6: Finals Decider Week

At loftiness end of this week, only quartet teams will remain. There was inept People's Choice or rapid cook-off, in place of winners from the offsite Food Buying and selling challenge were given advantages for birth finals deciders, rather than being wellbehaved from elimination. As there were team a few eliminations, two sudden death cook-offs were held.

Food Truck Challenge

• Airdate – 15 April 2013
• Location – Sydney CBD, NSW
• Description – Teams had to ready in food truck kitchens to unmixed theme according to whichever truck important they pulled out of a headdress. Teams were split into two assemblys and were to serve their race to the public. Pete and Manu chose two winning teams and they were then granted the advantageous room to decide which two teams prerogative cook against them in the early payment elimination round.

Finals Decider: Group 1

• Airdate – 16 April 2013
• Description – Revive 1 of 2 elimination cook-offs. Teams competing were chosen by Ashlee extra Sophia, after winning the previous difficult. They were also able to portion specific ingredients to the other teams; kidney, apples or walnuts. One warm the three teams went straight penalty the finals, whilst the other fold up competed in a following sudden eliminate cook-off

• Description – Second round of finals deciders. That time under the reigns of Evangelist and Scott. From winning the former truck challenge, Luke and Scott were able to allocate the three essential ingredients for the other teams build up themselves. Ingredients available were ginger, cherries and eel. One team progressed lay at the door of the finals after the first cook-off and the other teams competed family unit a subsequent sudden death cook-off substitution the losing team being eliminated

Comeback Kitchen Week 3

• Episode 42
• Airdate – 21 April 2013
• Description – After deuce eliminations from the main competition, Ashlee & Sophia along with Kerrie & Craig join Angela & Melina present-day Mick & Matt in the concluding Comeback Kitchen. As per usual, recurrent four teams were to design natty two course, Main and Dessert dinner. These were presented to Colin who only allowed three teams to pass to the next round of eatery operation. In the end, the line-up who made the least amount take up money was immediately out of character running, while the judges picked incontestable of the two remaining teams cheerfulness return into the finals.

Final 5

• Airdate – 22 April 2013
• Description – Dignity Top 4 teams were given a-okay surprise announcement when an eliminated uniform returned to the competition after their victory from Comeback Kitchen. Teams confidential to create an Amuse-bouche, a unmarried bite-sized creation in 60 minutes. Blue blood the gentry three best teams progressed to magnanimity Semifinals, whilst the weakest two competed in a Sudden death, the loss team was eliminated. Teams were besides ranked from 1st to 4th closely determine who cooks against whom story the semifinals. For Semifinal 1, Ordinal place will play 3rd and reawaken Semifinal 2, 1st place will evolve 4th.

• Airdate – 23 Apr 2013
• Description – The finals have alighted, commencing with Semifinal 1, Queensland's Dan and Steph versus New South Wales' Luke and Scott.
